Role Description:

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Plandek. Your day-to-day tasks will involve inside sales, lead generation, communication, and sales activities. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, building relationships with potential customers, and driving the growth and expansion of our business. This role is located in Greater London but allows for flexibility to work remotely as well.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to identify potential customers, including cold calling, emailing, and social selling.
  • Qualify inbound leads and determine their suitability for our products/services.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and interactions in the CRM system.
  • Conduct initial discovery calls with prospects to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Educate prospects on our offerings and articulate the value proposition effectively.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing efforts and maximize lead generation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve prospecting techniques.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or in an inside sales role.
  • Strong understanding of MEDDPIC, SPIN, and GAP selling methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven track record in business development.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the technology industry.
  • Familiarity with sales automation tools and techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
