JOB DESCRIPTION
* Responsible for the VIVS Level 3 and Level 4 requirements and interfaces, lead and manage the Level 3 and Level 4 requirements update.
* Set up and maintain a rolling schedule of requirements review meetings for the Plant Level 3 and Level 4 systems.
* Identify requirement conflicts and facilitate solutions; ensure that all the Level 3 and Level 4 requirement sets are formally updated and released on a nominal monthly cadence.
KEY OBJECTIVE
* Responsible for the Level 3 and 4 systems requirements and processes aligning with the overarching STEP requirements process and so will require close communication and working with the STEP OCE systems engineering team.
* Responsible for compliance methodologies and must ensure data are provided for all the Level 3 and Level 4 requirements and that this compliance is updated as information increases. The assessment of requirement compliance must be used to identify and adjust the VIVS risks.
* Responsible for the Level 3 and Level 4 system Interfaces. This requires engagement across STEP to refine, detail and align the Level 3 and Level 4 Interfaces and ensuring that the Level 3and Level 4 Interface Control Documents are continually updated and versioned.
* Responsible for moving the Level 3 and Level 4 requirements and interface information into the STEP PIMS system once the system is ready to receive this information and appropriate training is provided.
* Responsible for ensuring that the Level 4 system leads, and Level 4 System Engineers are trained and understand how to use the Level 3 and Level 4 requirements and interface documents including once they are transferred to the STEP PIMS system.
* Completion of PIMS requirements and interfaces management training.
* Clear demonstration that requirements compliance risks have been pulled through the risk register and are being used to influence the Level 3 and Level 4 system plans.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Previous experience in collecting requirements of the system from users and other stakeholders; and documenting, analysing, and agreeing requirements with relevant stakeholders.
* Experience of managing with requirements in a system engineering tools such as CATIA Magic.
* Experience identifying, defining, and managing complex system interfaces including resolving design conflicts.
* Experience of identifying and implementing requirements management processes within engineering teams that sit within a wider set of systems
