Your World Recruitment is currently supporting a Private Healthcare organisation based in Chertsey with the recruitment of an Electrical Engineering Technician required to Complete work orders for planned maintenance, reactive response, specialist sub-contracts, remedial tasks and provide routine and specialised engineering maintenance, and breakdown support.
Electrical Engineering Technician

Salary: Up to £36,000 (however, this may be negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible shifts between 6 am and 8 pm

Key Responsibilities:
* Complete work orders for planned maintenance, reactive response, specialist sub-contracts, and remedial tasks promptly.
* Provide routine and specialized engineering maintenance and breakdown support.
* Offer technical, health, safety, and environmental support, ensuring adherence to company policies.
* Train, mentor, and assist site-based technicians and engineering assistants.
* Advise local hospital managers on engineering matters.
* Foster a culture of exemplary engineering standards and integrity.
* Develop a strong team ethos, cover engineering absences, and provide specialist advice where required.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
* Current CSCS Card.
* Current ECS Card if electrically qualified.
* City & Guilds Part 3, ONC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
* Time served apprenticeship in an electrical discipline.
* Willingness to act as AP and RP Medgas.
* High-level organisation, time management, fault-finding techniques, and ability to read drawings.
* Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety guidelines, statutes, ACOPs, and L8 Legionella ACOP within hospital buildings.
* Competent in using a PC and related software/systems.
