We are excited to be working with a very well-known international development charity to help them find a Head of Individual Giving for a 12 month maternity contract. They are looking for an experienced fundraiser with a strong leadership track record, who can help them with their mission of alleviating poverty around the world.

You will be responsible for:nLead the development and delivery of a cost effective individual donor recruitment strategynRecruit new individual donors, targeting individuals who have greatest potential to continue their support for the work of the charity throughout their lifetime and by engaging in whole life responsenPlan and execute strategic brand and marketing campaigns designed to appeal to new audiences of individuals and families who have not previously supported the charity, using multiple marketing channels including, but not limited to digital advertising, social media, PR, OOH, TV, radio and print.nAlign fundraising activity with wider vision, mission and brand identitynAchieve acquisition KPIs and specific appeal targetsnWork alongside the Head of Retention in the strategy and planning of the journey from conversion through to welcome and onboardingnLine management of at least 2 direct marketers

Person specification:nExperienced charity fundraiser or marketeer with leadership experiencenStrategic thinker who sees the big picture, capable of adapting tactics to maintain focus on delivering the high level strategy. Well-developed understanding of fundraising and marketing principlesnMulti-channel marketing experience across a variety of media channels including digital marketing, social media, PR, OOH, TV and radionStrong experience of managing creative, media and digital agencies to deliver campaigns and achieve numerical and fundraising targetsnExperience in KPI tracking and analysis and subsequent application to course correct strategynSignificant experience of project managing multi-channel projects with multiple stakeholdersnExperience of overseeing project managementnExperience of supporting team members to meet deadlines and manage workload

What's on offer:nThis role is offering a salary of £55,000 for this 12 month maternity contract, on a hybrid basis. This is a fast moving role and applications will close as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
