Responsibilities:n• Assist the Regeneration and Place Manager in the development and delivery of local regeneration polices, strategies, projects and plansn• Deliver and enable masterplans and other regeneration projects in full consultation with all appropriate internal and external stakeholders with a focus on integration of activity across the Counciln• Directly support the Regeneration and Place Manager and Principal Regeneration Officer in the delivery of the Council’s regeneration projects and regeneration priorities relating to key strategic sites / opportunitiesn• Responsible for the setting of briefs for the appointment of external consultantsn• Engage with the private sector in securing investment and construction in physical regeneration of all types, including engaging with potential developers, investors and the local business communityn• Plan and prepare regeneration related events/consultation exercises including the design and production of leaflets, exhibition material and other public information documentation as requiredn• Write technically correct and accurate reports on regeneration issues and projects for Council Committees

Requirements:n• Knowledge of the property development industryn• Experience in assisting with the preparation of funding bids and ability to write accurately, timely and persuasive bidsn• Experience (minimum 3 years) of working on / implementing regeneration projects within a local authority context
