Position Overview


We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Site Quality Supervisor to become a vital part of our team. This role is essential in overseeing the quality assurance of our construction projects.

As a Site Quality Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that our major development and regeneration initiatives are executed to the highest standards. Reporting directly to a Senior Quality Supervisor and the Construction Design & Quality Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and technical specifications.
  • Conducting thorough inspections and snagging processes to guarantee that all work meets the required standards.
  • Collaborating with our consulting Employers Agents to identify potential issues and achieve satisfactory construction results.
  • Partnering closely with contractors and consultancy teams to align with the overall goals of timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven project delivery.
  • Maintaining meticulous documentation of information and details, while providing specific contractual and technical support to the project team.
  • Utilizing project management software to log site inspections on a monthly and weekly basis.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience as a Site Quality Supervisor, complemented by strong customer service skills and a keen eye for detail. You should also be able to demonstrate:

  • Substantial construction experience, whether in a trade capacity or in a supervisory/management role.
  • Familiarity with current building regulations and standards.
  • Understanding of contemporary construction methods.
  • Awareness of both contractual and non-contractual defects.
  • Technical expertise in construction practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.

Please note that a valid UK driving licence is a prerequisite for this position.

This role may require travel and occasional overnight stays.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of HNC/HND in Construction, Surveying, or a related field.
  • Membership in the Institute of Clerk of Works (ICWCI) or equivalent professional body.
  • Possession of an appropriate Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card.
