Cost Controller Manager required for a major offshore wind developer based in England
Responsibilities
Control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and claims to ensure that all project expenditures are forecasted, captured and recorded correctly
Prepare the monthly and annual budgets and costs checks and prepare all corresponding documentation and reports
Liaise with the wider commercial and finance team to assist with internal reporting of accruals and funding
Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, commercial, finance and management functions on all cost related matters
Provide cost control and planning advice to the management team, package managers and procurement officers as and when required
Having and/or building in-depth knowledge and understanding of contract(s) of assigned packages to enable challenge of all project cost detail
Challenge the team to achieve greater cost efficiency
Supporting the preparation of CAPEX and OPEX cost books
Manage the OFTO transaction accounting, valuation, and documentation
the cost gathering to facilitate eventual assessment for the OFTO transaction
Attending project meetings and discussions with the PMT and external parties
Undertake other ad-hoc duties as required.Requirements
Qualified in business, finance, commerce or a comparable discipline
At least five years of professional experience in a similar function as finance or cost controller
Excellent knowledge of relevant finance and cost controlling functions, tools and methods
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, in particular MS Excel, and other relevant software packages
Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
Certified in accounting and/or quantity surveying
Construction project or manufacturing industry experience
