I’m delighted to be recruiting on behalf of CE International, a growing furniture manufacturing company based in Frome.


We're looking for a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team This role offers a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the financial operations across three business entities and develop your skills in a dynamic, supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Bookkeeping and inputting supplier invoices into QuickBooks
  • Managing monthly supplier payments and weekly employee expense payments
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Bank reconciliations and journal entries for 3 companies
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with wage calculations, P&L statements, and budget processing
  • Helping with end-of-year accounts and other financial tasks


What We're Looking For:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role, ideally within a multi-company setup
  • AAT Qualified/Finalist.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge of UK VAT and PAYE regulations
