**Newbury Manor School are recruiting for a full time Senior Administrator to join our dedicated and talented education administration team.**
**The role**:
As Senior Administrator your role will be to ensure that the administration operations within the school runs smoothly at all times and will include line management of the current administration team.
You and your team will manage the business administration functions of the school, including payroll, finance, HR, referrals, transport and fleet co-ordination and much much more, with support from the Head teacher and Regional Business Manager.

**Main duties**:
- Line manage the administration team to ensure administrative tasks are completed as instructed, to deadline and to a high standard.
- Supervise, coach and support new or less experienced administration staff regarding administrative duties and procedures.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of specific administrative processes/ systems, for example effective record keeping and filing systems.
- Liaise and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders including site-based staff and wider central services functions (Finance, Quality, HR).
- Take a lead role in the recruitment of new employees by providing administrative support to managers, undertaking a range of pre-employment checks, and ensuring recruitment is legal, safe and meets regulatory standards.
- Ensures the accuracy, confidentiality and security of personal files and employment records in accordance with Group policy, best practice and current legislation.
- Oversee financial and accounting administration such as dealing with invoices, processing of cash, checking transactions and undertaking reconciliation in line with academy financial procedures.
- Processing local payroll, ensuring systems are updated in an accurate and timely manner.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including parents/carers, local authorities to arrange visits, meetings to support the referrals and admissions process.
- Facilitate and co-ordinate the organisation of the new pupil admission and transition process including new starter pack and new pupil orientation.
- Support the School Business Manager with the day-to-day administration of HR including recruitment. Support the Regional Business Manager with the day-to-day administration of HR including recruitment.
**We are looking for some who**:
- Is confident working independently and proactively using initiative to deliver solutions, taking a lead role in regard to specific processes / pieces of work with appropriate support if required.
- Has a strong knowledge of administrative processes, which will be specialist in certain areas, e.g., admissions, finance.
- Has proven experience in multitasking and who is highly skilled and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel & Word.
- Has excellent time management and prioritisation skills in order to manage a varied and busy workload to meet deadlines.
- At all times will work collaboratively with relevant colleagues to fulfil the requirements of the role and contribute positively to the effective running of the administration function within the school.
