Key Responsibilities:
* Support Care Home Manager: Assist the Care Home Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Staff Management: Supervise and support care staff, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and delivering the highest standard of care.
* Quality of Care: Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the individual needs of residents.
* Resident Well-being: Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
* Health and Safety: Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
* Communication: Facilitate effective communication within the team, residents, and their families. Address concerns and maintain a positive atmosphere within the care home.
* Budget Management: Assist in managing the care home's budget effectively, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a senior care role.
* Relevant qualification in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 4 or equivalent).
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Understanding of CQC regulations and standards.
* Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
* Level 5 leadership or Management or NMC pin
