Marketing Executive | Location: Hybrid - office/remote About us BTL Diffusion UK is a fast-growing distributor specialising in children's and nursery products, bringing high-quality, innovative brands from Europe into the UK market. This is an exciting stage of growth, where we are building brand presence, scaling marketing operations, and establishing ourselves across UK retail and digital channels. The Role or Opportunity This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You'll be wearing many hats, from digital campaigns and brand storytelling to trade marketing, content creation and in person events. You'll have the freedom to make an impact, bring fresh ideas, and play a key role in shaping how BTL connects with customers, retailers, and partners and in driving incremental growth. About You We require a commercially minded marketer who's comfortable working across multiple projects and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves. You combine creativity with a data-driven mindset and have a real passion for growing brands through smart, effective marketing. You'll bring: 3+ years of broad marketing experience, ideally within a small to medium size business, or distribution environment. A full-stack approach to marketing, confident creating strategy one day and executing campaigns the next. Strong grasp of digital tools and platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, email automation software, Canva/Adobe, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Wix). Experience or interest in Trade/B2B marketing, supporting sales and partner relationships through shared marketing activity. Creative flair and solid copywriting skills with an eye for good design and brand storytelling. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working with suppliers, agencies, and internal teams. Strong organisational and project management skills with great attention to detail. A proactive, adaptable attitude, you takes ownership, finds solutions, and makes things happen. A growth mindset eager to experiment, learn, and contribute to the company's next stage of expansion. Key responsibilities: Trade & B2B Marketing Develop and execute trade marketing plans that support sales growth across our Nursery, Toy, and Gift categories. Manage all B2B communication and promotional activity with trade customers, distributors, and retail partners. Build strong relationships with retailers, suppliers, and trade publications to drive visibility and partnership opportunities. Support the Sales Team with marketing materials, campaigns, and co-branded initiatives for retail partners. Coordinate participation in key trade events, exhibitions, and retail shows, including logistics, stand presentation, and promotional collateral. Maintain and optimise our presence on B2B marketplaces and other distribution platforms. Help with the planning and stand design of BTL trade events Content & Creative Produce and proof engaging copy for trade communications, product launches, emails, and sales collateral. Develop content calendars aligned with seasonal and industry events. Manage and maintain internal and external marketing asset libraries (images, product information, and brand materials). Create and brief visual assets for campaigns and trade materials (using Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools). Support the production of packaging, product instructions, and photography as needed. Partnerships, PR & Influencer Marketing Manage and grow partnerships with key suppliers, ensuring marketing assets and content are up to date. Identify, brief, and manage influencer collaborations relevant to the Nursery and Family sectors, assessing impact and ROI. Liaise with trade media to secure features, coverage, and advertising opportunities within budget. Collaboration & Strategy Work closely with business owners and the Sales Team to align marketing with commercial goals. Scope project requirements, prepare briefs, and manage delivery schedules with internal and external partners. Contribute to the overall creative and brand strategy both online and offline. Support the set-up of new marketing initiatives including B2C projects when required. Attend trade and retail shows as needed (occasional weekend work required). Brand & Product Champion Develop deep knowledge of our products and become a brand and product champion, using a sales-driven marketing mindset to elevate brand visibility and drive engagement. Act as a cross-functional link between marketing, sales, and product teams to align messaging and campaigns. Why join us?
