Product Safety Specialist
Location: Nuneaton

Salary: c. £60,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
* Support New Product Development (NPD) projects by ensuring all products meet safety and regulatory standards.
* Lead safety assessments for supplements and cosmetics, providing expert guidance on safety requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and product development to ensure product safety and compliance.
* Prepare and review safety documentation and reports for product launches and regulatory submissions.
* Stay updated on changes in safety regulations and standards, advising the business on necessary actions.
* Report to the Head of Regulatory Affairs, contributing to the overall safety strategy and implementation.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in product safety within the supplements or cosmetics industry; experience in food manufacturing/FMCG is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of regulatory affairs related to supplements, food, or cosmetics.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
