Your day-to-day work as a Young Persons Support Assistant:
Work as part of a close-knit team to manage a property with 8 self-contained flats for young people (16-25) who've faced tough challenges.
Build trust with young people, helping them navigate complex issues like mental health, substance misuse, and past trauma.
Lead engaging activities that boost confidence and life skills, preparing young people for independent living.
Support and motivate residents to achieve personal goals, whether it's education, employment, or moving into their own home.
Provide hands-on, day-to-day emotional and practical support to empower young people to reach their full potential.
What We're Looking For
A strong, resilient character who can handle challenging situations with calm and composure.
Flexibility to work on a rotating schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and sleep-ins.
