We are on the lookout for a dedicated, patient and enthusiastic individual to join our client’s team as a Learning Support Assistant (SEN). Our client is rated 'Good' by Ofsted and is renowned for their team togetherness, celebrating achievements and nurturing Special Educational Needs (SEN) students.
About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant (SEN), you will be working alongside a strong supportive team, assisting in the delivery of learning support to SEN students in an office-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing one-on-one assistance and group support to SEN students
* Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP)
* Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students reach their full potential
* Monitoring and tracking student progress and providing feedback to the team
About You:
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Teaching and Learning
* Previous experience within a similar role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs
* Patience and resilience in challenging situations
