Head of Business Development:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Development to spearhead the growth trajectory in the exciting and ever-evolving field of energy, decarbonisation and net-zero solutions.


About the Role:


In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy to drive new client acquisition and project opportunities within the decarbonisation and net-zero space. You will lead a high-performing team and be instrumental in shaping the future direction of our company as a leading sustainability advisor.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Proven work with local Governments, councils and within the commercial space.
  • Develop and implement a data-driven business development strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Identify and target key market segments within the decarbonisation and net-zero landscape.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients across diverse industries.
  • Lead the development of compelling proposals and presentations that win new business.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and identify new business opportunities in decarbonisation solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.


Key Qualifications:


  • Proven track record of success in business development within the energy or sustainability sectors.
  • In-depth understanding of the decarbonisation and net-zero landscape.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Ability to develop strategic partnerships and build strong relationships.
  • Data-driven approach with experience in market research and analysis.
