Purchasing Administrator

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Purchasing Administrator to join a growing and established company. Previous experience in a purchasing or buying role and use of Sage is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaising with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
* Working with the Supply Chain Manager on procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender management
* Identifying purchase requirements
* Placing and progressing purchase orders to fulfilment.
* Working with commercial and warehouse teams to ensure optimum stock levels, with focus on warehouse space, customer demand and stock value.
* Ensuring suppliers are delivering goods on time and in full, and liaising with Planning and Customer Service teams to advise of delivery statuses.
* Developing strong relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business
* Working with the warehouse and quality teams to identify and resolve incoming goods quality anomalies to team leaders.
This is a full time temporary position based in Lancing, with the view to become permanent for the successful candidate the hourly rate is paying between £12-£14 per hour.
