About the role:
This part-time KS1 Teacher position has opened due to a maternity leave replacement. You will join a creative and passionate team committed to nurturing a love of learning in our students. The role involves working 3 days a week, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on young learners’ educational journey.
You will be part of a collaborative team, working alongside a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) in your classroom. Our classes include children with special educational needs (SEN), and you will have access to ample resources and support to create an inclusive learning environment.
We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic educator who is eager to contribute to our school community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a track record of fostering student growth and achievement.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A minimum of 1 year of experience teaching Key Stage 1.
• Strong background in English and Science instruction.
• Experience supporting students with SEN and differentiating instruction.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse learning needs of Key Stage 1 students, incorporating innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance understanding and participation.
• Provide tailored support and intervention for students with special educational needs (SEN), collaborating with support staff and external specialists to ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect, curiosity, and a love of learning, while managing classroom behavior effectively.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians to build strong partnerships that support students’ academic and personal development.
