About the role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join our team due to a new addition to the staff. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our young learners.

You will have the support of a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) in the classroom and work closely with parents to ensure the best outcomes for our students. Our classes include children with SEN needs, and we provide extensive support to help all children thrive.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• At least 2 years of experience in teaching KS1.

• Strong expertise in Reading, Writing, and Maths.

• Experience working with SEN and EHCP children preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of all students in Key Stage 1, including those with SEN and EHCPs.

• Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing feedback and support to help each child achieve their full potential and meet learning objectives.

• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and other staff members to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a positive learning atmosphere.

• Maintain strong communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and working together to support children’s academic and social development.
