Job Description:nWe’re looking for an Operations Manager with media or production industry experience to play a key role at the operational heart of Engage Digital Partners. We require a dynamic individual with an innate ability to multitask, manage people and think both creatively and logically. Reporting to the Head of Operations,, the Operations Manager will undertake a variety of responsibilities, including project management, allocation of resources, office and virtual setup, and managing client budgets.nThis role will ensure our projects have the resources, tools and information to deliver the best possible results to our clients - on budget and to deadline. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams as well as a background in media, and will understand how to manage the balance between client relations and achieving commercial targets. Experience working in production and knowledge of film crews would be an asset.nThe role will manage the monthly and longer-term resource plan, and as such will also work closely with the people department on workforce capabilities and productivity. This role will play a leading role in the smooth running of day to day operations, with productive and talented people, all operating in a company culture that encourages morale and performance.

Responsibilities:

Work with relevant senior members of staff to ensure projects are correctly briefed, budgeted and run to time with delivery to clientnActive management of team resourcing on a daily and weekly basis, dealing with competing deadlines across a varied client basenManagement of project management software ‘Wrike’ and utilising the system to generate analysis and reports of the performance of projectsnDevelop client budgets (new proposals and current clients) and have understanding of varying pricing models, in order to cater for specific client needsnTrack, monitor and control spend for ongoing projects - highlighting areas where budgets may need to be adapted for changing requirementsnForm and manage client relationships to monitor client satisfaction, as well as to spot opportunities for business growthnManage key supplier and vendor relationshipsnWork with people department to help identify resource needs across a core pool of staff with a complementary range of freelancers and specialistsnOffice and remote working management, including ensuring all necessary office equipment is provided for all staff to carry out their daily duties as well as ensuring health and safety requirements are met and relevant insurance policies are in placenSupport Operations Director in review of policies, governance and contractual issuesnMaintain up-to-date operational knowledge across changes in legislation through attending workshops, reviewing publications and using network to benchmark against relevant companies and industry standardsnSupport production team with logistics and shoot planning where appropriate

Key skills and knowledge:

Able to perform under pressure, manage multiple tasks and to work to tight timescalesnProven Project Management skills and robust processesnExperience in dealing with production and film shoots would be highly beneficialnStrong decision making, organisational, planning and problem solving skills with ability to identify and prioritise critical issues;nHighly self-motivated and drivennBe a good communicator with strong relationship management skillsnGreat team player with the social skills to go with itnExperience of client management beneficialnKnowledge of social media platforms beneficialnStrong understanding of financial management including budgeting, profit and loss, cash flow management and relevant employment financial practicesnBasic understanding of employment laws and necessary legal and regulatory documents such as insurance provisions
