Key Responsibilities:
ISO Audit Preparations: Lead and coordinate preparations for ISO 45001 audits, ensuring all health and safety management systems are compliant with ISO standards.
Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments for all projects and operations, identifying potential hazards and implementing effective control measures.
Policy Development: Develop, review, and update health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Training and Awareness: Deliver health and safety training programs to employees, promoting a culture of safety and awareness across the organization.
Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, industry standards, and company policies.
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on health and safety performance, including audit findings, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in health and safety practices and implement best practices across the organization.Qualifications:
NEBOSH Certificate: Must hold a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
Experience: Minimum of (Insert Number) years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably within the telecoms and utilities sector.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 standards and health and safety regulations.
Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
