My client who is based in over 100 different countries across the globe and who are at the forefront of the explosives industry are now seeking a Maintenance Tech to join their growing team.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.
You will be reporting to the Site Manager, and you will paly a crucial role in ensuring a safe and efficient operation of their blasting systems and related equipment.
Therefore, your key accountabilities include performing technical works as required within the maintenance team. This encompasses scheduled maintenance programs, prompt response to breakdowns, and statutory inspections, all documented through a company bespoke computer-based system.
This position offers you a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, contributing to the success of projects across various industries.
Qualifications
* Relevant technical qualification in engineering, mechanics, or a related field.
* Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.
* Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Willingness to travel as required.
* Due to the nature of the product that my client manufacturers, you will also have to be able to pass enhanced CRB checks prior to starting with this role
The ideal candidate would be someone from an electro Mechanical background, as you will be working on a combination of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and pump systems which are fitted to vehicles, although you will not be responsible for the maintenance of the actual vehicle itself.
In return they are offering a competitive salary circa £40 to 42k and with overtime and company bonuses which are not guaranteed, you can earn in excess of £50k+.You will also learn from talented individuals across multiple disciplines and be able to thrive in a safe workplace within a collaborative culture. Other benefits will also include 25 days leave + Bank Holidays, up to a 2-week shutdown over the Christmas period, and after completing your probation company pension and company healthcare package. You will be working a standard 40 hr week Mon to Fri and with some flexibility on Saturday working on occasions.
There will also be some travelling to different sites to help other teams and all travel, accommodation and food costs will be covered by the client.
