Job Summary
Fife Sports and Leisure Trust is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to provide efficient and effective caretaking support for the operation of our facilities and grounds. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations and will work closely with the Safety and Facilities Manager to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities
- Operation and routine maintenance of Pool Filtration Plants at various sites
- Routine maintenance of other treatment systems, including Bore Wells and Heating system water treatment systems
- Cleaning of plant areas
- Routine maintenance of lighting systems, including changing bulbs and replacing damaged covers
- Routine repair and minor maintenance of fixtures and fittings, including carpentry works, painting, and basic pool cover repairs
- Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and Spin bike maintenance
- PIPA testing inflatables and Sports Hall Maintenance
Requirements
- SVQ Level 2 Health and Safety at work awareness
- A good general level of education, including satisfactory literacy and numeracy skills
- UK Full Driving Licence
- Basic Disclosure from Disclosure Scotland
