You will be part of a UKSVs Communication and Employee Engagement team, a small, high-performing team who are responsible for producing and coordinating UKSVs communications with all its stakeholders and developing the businesses employee offering and interactions with its employees.You will have the ability to see the bigger picture, be comfortable dealing with people of all seniority, and bring a passion to your role, with a curious mind and a can-do attitude.Job description

As a Senior Manager

Employee Engagement , your key duties will include but not limited to :Develop, implement, and analyse employee surveys (including the annual Civil Service People Survey) to gather feedback on workplace satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and track employee engagement trends.Prepare reports and insights to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement and present these findings to the management team.Help to design, plan, and execute employee engagement programmes, activities, and initiatives that align with the organisations goals and culture.Work with Communications colleagues to promote open and transparent communication channels within the organisation.Recognise and celebrate employee achievements and milestones through various recognition programmes and Awards.Collaborate with the Training and Development and HR teams and management to identify training and development opportunities that enhance employee skills, job satisfaction, and career growth.Develop and coordinate wellness initiatives, programmes, and activities to support employees physical and mental health, including stress management and work- life balance.Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace by implementing strategies that promote equity, inclusivity, and respect for all employees.Organise and manage employee events, such as team-building activities, volunteer opportunities, and social gatherings, to strengthen interpersonal relationships and team cohesionPerson specificationAs a Senior Manager - Employee Engagement, we are looking for people who have the following expertise and attributes:Experience of working in the Employee Engagement or Human Resources (is preferred).An excellent awareness and understanding of employee experience, culture, well-being and EDI issues and best practice.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey ideas, engage employees, and collaborate with stakeholders.Strong data analysis skills to interpret survey results and metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.Calm and resilient under pressure, even when dealing with challenging situations.Self-motivation and an ability to use initiative.Flexibility and the ability to work across all levels and meet changing requirements.Experience of building and managing partnerships and relationships.Confidence to constructively challenge and offer viewpoint.There will be a requirement for regular travel between UKSVs sites in Glasgow, York, Manchester and Milton Keynes.Please go to Civil Service Jobs website for more information and how to apply
