Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
You will be working with the Supply Chain Manager to keep the flow of stock as efficient as possible for our customers. You will bring a fresh view to current processes and constantly work to improve availability whilst avoiding over stocks.
There will be plenty of opportunity to develop and grow with the role, learning more about the product ranges and behaviours. This is a dynamic company that is constantly changing ranges, products, sourcing, methods etc.
Tasks will include:
* Generate supplier orders from the UK & Europe
* Process ‘Shopping Cart’ orders for genuine spares
* Check order confirmations against orders raised
* Communicate any cost variance to the relevant manager
* Respond to internal and external enquiries on ‘out of stock’ ETAs
* Calculate distribution of transport costs across deliveries to give true margin on the system
* Chase orders and update expected dates on the system
* Process obsoletion through the system and inform Sales or Spares teams of back orders that cannot be fulfilled
* Identify changes in demand and adjust replenishment levels accordingly
* Use sales data to look at product trends and expected sales
* Build relationships with suppliers and other departments to help communication flow
* Communicate with our contact in China regarding Branded Machines and branded spares imports
* Support the Supply Chain Manager with imports from China
* Update Availability Report
* Investigate invoice discrepancies and request credit notes accordingly
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Excellent Maths and Microsoft Excel skills are essential as is the ability to draft clear concise emails to suppliers.
Excellent IT Skills with experience of Seqol being a bonus. A desire to further develop further skills and techniques
Good succinct communications skills (written and verbal)
Preferred Skills:
Data analysis experience
