Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an Employability Tutor who will deliver short employability courses to give job seekers the skills they need to secure employment.
Working across Greater Manchester, you will deliver level 1 and 2 qualifications in one or more of the following sectors; Care, Hospitality, Retail, Business Admin, Customer Services, Facilities, Construction, Health & Safety in the Construction Environment and CSCS card. You will have delivery experience or you will have previously worked in any of these sectors and possess a good understand how to deliver this training.  You will write lesson plans/schemes of work and be able to develop resources as needed.
You will be a passionate tutor, able to mentor learners throughout delivery to ensure they complete and achieve their qualification. You will hold a minimum PTLLS teaching qualification (or equivalent) and be skilled in completing contractual paperwork and supporting across all audits or Ofsted inspections.  You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, able adapt delivery to learners from all backgrounds and abilities and by able to travel across Greater Manchester as needed.
Due to the nature of this role you will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check and there will be regular travel across the region so access to your own vehicle is essential.
