Hopwood Hall College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Progress Tutor to join our team. As a Progress Tutor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, personal, and professional development of our learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate weekly group tutorials and 1:1 reviews to monitor learner progress and set targets for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to learners on employability, personal development, social and welfare, health, and wellbeing.
  • Work closely with the Pastoral and Safeguarding team to address pastoral, welfare, and safeguarding concerns.
  • Assist learners in exploring career pathways, setting career goals, and developing employability skills.
  • Track learner attendance, engagement, and academic performance to identify trends and patterns requiring intervention.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 (GCSE A* - C) in English and Maths.
  • Level 4 Teaching Qualification (or willingness to work towards).
  • Previous vocational experience.
  • Experience of working with young people, developing and delivering thematic tutorials, and tracking and monitoring progress.
