About the Role:
Join our dynamic team in a varied role supporting all finance and office administration activities. This position is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping skills and a keen eye for detail, ready to ensure the smooth running of our business office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume purchase invoices, BACS payments, and bank reconciliation
- Handle VAT returns and sales invoices
- Assist with payroll processing
- Maintain energy usage spreadsheets
- Use software for management account preparation
- Manage both digital and physical filing systems
- Office management duties and event organisation
- Coordinate fleet and property maintenance
- Support HR administration, including staff rota
- Assist the Compliance Manager
Requirements:
- Accountancy qualification/strong bookkeeping skills
- Excellent IT literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Docs, etc.)
- Detail-oriented with accurate data input
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a small team
- Personable and professional demeanor.
Experience:
- Previous administration experience is essential
