Job Description

Our client, a leading accounting firm, is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Accounts and Tax Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled accountant to take on a challenging position and contribute to the growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assignment Planning and Supervision: Plan, undertake, and supervise assignments to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  2. Client Projects: Manage client-specific projects, including year-end compliance requirements, statutory accounts, and tax returns.
  3. Accountability and Team Management: Be accountable for a portfolio of clients/jobs and manage a small team of high-performing professionals.
  4. Business Development: Contribute to the business development of the office and firm, identifying new opportunities and implementing strategies to drive growth.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical accounting and tax skills, with a strong background in accountancy practice and a qualification such as ACA or ACCA. They will also possess excellent interpersonal and management skills, with the ability to interact with a varied client portfolio and mentor and supervise a team of professionals.

Requirements
