Carbon60 are looking to recruit an experienced Soft Service Manager to join their client's site in Brighton, to oversee the events and hospitality services.
We are looking for someone who is willing to be flexible to cover the events which may also occur on the weekends. Someone who is used to managing staff within a hospitality setting.

Permanent
£50,000 + bonuses and corporate benefits
Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm Role:
Lead the team to deliver scoped services daily across catering, vending, hospitality, retail and any other required areas
Develop and implement operational procedures and standards to ensure high-quality service delivery
Coordinate and supervise Managers, including hiring, training, performance management
Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain operational efficiency and service quality
Build and maintain strong relationships with the client and its employees, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded
Act as the primary point of contact for all catering, hospitality and vending service inquiries, concerns and feedback, and cascade accordingly
Develop and manage budgets for all parts of the contract
Monitor and report on financial performance including revenue, expenses, labour and profitability
Oversee corporate events and functions ensuring all are executed smoothly, meeting all client requirements and company standards
Ensure compliance with H&S regulations, and ensure all team are trained with appropriate qualifications
Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance
Person Specification:
IT literate - Microsoft & financial systems
Proven experience as a GM or at least 5 years in a DGM role
Strong leadership experience / ability to drive and manage change
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practice
Experience with site audits
