Carbon60 is seeking an experienced Soft Service Manager to oversee the delivery of events and hospitality services for their client. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team to provide high-quality services across catering, vending, hospitality, retail, and other areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational procedures and standards to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Coordinate and supervise managers, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain operational efficiency and service quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their employees, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all catering, hospitality, and vending service inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Develop and manage budgets for all parts of the contract.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, including revenue, expenses, labor, and profitability.
- Oversee corporate events and functions, ensuring all are executed smoothly and meeting client requirements and company standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure all team members are trained with appropriate qualifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance.
Requirements:
- IT literate – Microsoft and financial systems.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or at least 5 years in a Deputy General Manager role.
- Strong leadership experience and ability to drive and manage change.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practice.
- Experience with site audits.
- Proficient in financial management and budgeting, including proven experience in managing a profit and loss statement.
