Sales Support Co-ordinator

We are seeking an experienced and diligent individual with a good track record of working in the scientific or engineering industries.
You will be working in a small, dynamic team, so it is important that you are flexible and self-motivated. The majority of our customers are scientists and engineers, so some background and interest in science or engineering is desirable but not essential.
Key areas of responsibility:
* Screening and logging customer enquiries including phone calls and emails
* Answering after-sales support cases, or escalating to the correct member of staff
* Keeping track of the progress and communicate internally and with customers
* Liaising with other departments on administrative matters of mutual importance
* Generating repair/service quotations
* Ensuring service orders are checked and released by the Sales Team / Production within agreed timeframe
* Monitoring repair turn around and keeping customers updated
* Coordinating various exhibitions and marketing events
* Providing administrative support to the Sales Team when required
Knowledge, skills and experience:
* Experience in after sales support for technical or scientific products
* Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of administration recordkeeping practices
* Outstanding organisational and multitasking skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as customer service skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach towards problem-solving
Requirements:
The role will suit a person with several years of experience of after sales support for international markets.
* Minimum of college education to having an associate or bachelor’s degree
* Minimum 3+ years’ work experience in technical/scientific products industry
* Office-based
* Ability to work to deadlines and complete tasks in a timely fashion, to meet customer requirements
* Right to employment in UK
