Are you a Qualified Person (QP) seeking a role that offers both professional growth and flexibility? A leading pharmaceutical company in North East England is looking for a dedicated and experienced QP to join their dynamic team. This role provides the unique benefit of being based in NE England, London, or even from home, with initial weekly site visits to the NE facility.
The successful candidate will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of performing the final and legal sign-off of batch records for imported and repackaged pharmaceutical products. This is a permanent position that promises an attractive salary, commensurate with your skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the GMP Subject Matter Expert for Quality Management System (QMS) site compliance.
Maintain and update QMS systems, leading by example to ensure seamless coordination.
Lead and coach the Quality Assurance (QA) team, fostering a culture of excellence.
Ensure all activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP), implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to resolve any quality issues.
Lead by example on all compliance and quality matters.
Conduct both internal and external audits.
Communicate effectively with onsite and offsite technical staff, liaising with customers and contract QPs to support batch release activities.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience supporting the manufacture of generics (finished products) and possess a robust background in Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), and GMP. Experience in supporting manufacturing, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), packaging, licensing, release, and post-market activities is highly desirable.
This role offers a hybrid working model, providing the flexibility to balance professional commitments with personal life.

Location : NE or London + Hybrid option – with site visits to NE England
