As part of our commitment, we are seeking a Neighbourhood Housing Officer to join our dynamic Neighbourhood Teams. This key frontline role will allow you to make a tangible difference to our customers and the communities we manage.
Position: Neighbourhood Housing Officer
Role Overview:
Frontline Service: Deliver a proactive, practical, and visible customer-focused tenancy and estate management service.
Customer Focus: Provide a responsive neighbourhood management service that is consistent and supportive to customer needs, aiding the sustainment of tenancies.
Estate Management: Manage key elements of Housing Management, Environmental Management, Community and Tenancy Support, Community Safety, Compliance, and Community Cohesion.
Main Duties:
Estate Walkabouts: Conduct regular estate walkabouts to maintain a visible presence and address any issues promptly.
Communal Inspections: Perform inspections of communal areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
Untidy Gardens: Identify and deal with untidy gardens, working with tenants to maintain standards.
Team Support: Support the team with general estate management duties, ensuring that our services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Housing Management: Ensure that tenants receive the support they need to sustain their tenancies.
Environmental Management: Maintain the environment of the estates to a high standard.
Community Support: Provide support to the community, fostering a sense of safety and cohesion.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
Community Cohesion: Promote and support community cohesion initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
DBS Check: A basic DBS check is essential.
Customer Focused: Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Proactive: Ability to identify issues and resolve them proactively.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues in their duties
