We have an exciting opportunity at our Sallow Road (Corby) office, for a Finance & Payroll Assistant to support the Finance team with the day to day running of the accounts and payroll processing.
This position would suit someone who is driven and passionate, and has good strong knowledge and experience with Accounts Payable and Payroll. The successful candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, be able to communicate to all stakeholders in a concise and clear manner and be a great team player. You will have sound knowledge of accounting as well as a good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
Key duties:
* Support the Payroll and Senior Accounting Technician to deliver accurate and timely weekly payroll.
* Accurate recording and reporting of payroll data.
* Good knowledge of managing Accounts payable.
* Payroll and accounting query resolution.
* Supporting and processing of statutory reports.
* Maintain a positive working relationship with business stakeholders.
* Work in partnership with other team members to deliver excellent customer service.
Experience and Qualifications
* AAT qualification (preferred)
* Part or full degree educated (advantageous)
* Proven experience of Payroll Management
* Proven experience of Accounts Payable management.
* Strong skills in Microsoft Excel or other data analytic software packages
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal

The position is office based in Corby, working Monday 9am to Friday 5pm – 35 hours per week
