Management Accountant

Your New Role as Management Accountant:
Working in a friendly finance team of 4-5 staff, as Management Accountant you will enjoy a diverse role which involves:
• Preparing the monthly management accounts pack including commentary and analysis
• Supporting with year end statutory accounting requirements including audit
• Management of stock and assisting with product costings
• Posting accruals, prepayments and journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• VAT returns
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Supporting with the preparation of budgets
• Assisting with forecasting activities
• Communicating with various internal stakeholders to provide financial information and respond to queries when required
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
To be considered, you will actively be studying CIMA/ACCA or be AAT qualified and committed to beginning further study (study support will be offered). You will already have sufficient exposure to management accounts production and month end duties, with the drive to further build your experience within finance. Strong Excel skills are required and knowledge of a mainstream ERP system is desirable.
