I’m recruiting on an confidential search and looking to discuss an exciting new role with a established and growing fashion group looking for a Head of Sales /Senior Sales Manager Footwear Private based in the UK.

A great opportunity has become available to join a global fashion supplier working with the major high street fashion retailers in both the UK and Europe.

Due to the company's ongoing success, they are looking for an experienced.

Head of Sales Europe  with a proven track record in  Footwear   Private Label  with active connections and current or recent experience working with major supermarkets and volume high street retailers. This really is an exciting time to be joining an established successful, global fashion supplier with contemporary offices and showroom, established head office who are looking to add new accounts to their current portfolio in Ladies and Men’s footwear. Offices and designers in the UK, Sampling and Development in China full back up team approved factories.

Have you the ability and experience to drive and develop their existing fashion footwear customers and develop new accounts?

  • Develop and maintain sales for major accounts with the supermarkets and high street retailers in UK and Europe.
  • Understanding key trends and having a commercial 'eye' for fashion footwear
  • Excellent understanding of margins and critical path management
  • Previous Account Management or Sales Management experience within the supplier side on Footwear Own Label.  This must be current or recent and you must be well connected and proactive
  • An established network of buyers within the supermarkets and high street volume fashion retailers.
  • Able to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with factories and buyers
  • Provide guidance and assistance to design teams to ensure product development aligns with internal strategy and customer strategy.
  • In conjunction with the design team, present new products to customers
  • Able to negotiate prices in line with customer requirements and targets and agree on cost prices with customers.
  • Must have experience working with China etc
  • We are looking for an experienced Account Manager who understands Supermarkets and Volume Accounts
  • Dynamic, hands-on go-getter who can think on their feet and get results
