Job Pourpose:
Finance Manager ensures the financial stability, efficiency, and strategic direction of the company, supporting its overall mission and goals. This role is integral to the organization's success, providing the financial expertise and leadership needed to navigate complex financial landscapes and drive long-term growth. The role is also accountable for providing HR and Payroll administration support to the factory.
Key Interactions:
Operations Manager, QHSE Manager, Factory Shift-leaders, Product Management, Customers, Market Development Team, Manufacturing, Planning, Customer Service, Material Master Team, Spandex Bristol and Group Finance teams.
Responsibilities:
- As a member of the LMT (Local Management Team) be involved with the management of the business to ensure that all targets and objectives are met.
- Prepare financial reporting in a timely and accurate manner in line with Group requirements to include monthly management accounts, and Ad Hoc reports.
- Preparation of monthly reporting presentation for senior management
- In depth analysis of variances in production including waste , efficiency and costs. Paying particular attention to overhead recovery and consumption
- Analysis and reporting of expenses and variations to budget and forecast
- Accounting for Inventory, including monitoring of inventory management, stock counts, valuation and saleability
- Support the year-end audit process
- Product costing including machine / labour and material costs to ensure correct COS within the business
- Work with the planning team to ensure BOMs and Routings are created and applied correctly
- Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts in conjunction with the CEO and with assistance from the UK Finance Team
- Work closely with the Bristol finance team and in particular the UK Finance Manager to ensure all AP and AR postings and Journals are recorded correctly
- Provide HR administration support including compilation of payroll input, compilation of contracts of employment, presenting monthly new starter induction.
