Treasury Business Manager – Fluent Mandarin

Our Banking client is looking for a Fluent Mandarin speaker Treasury Business Manager to join their small team on a permanent basis. This position will be 5 days in the office per week.
Role:
The successful candidate will assist the line manager with Treasury business management, trading support, liquidity risk analysis, financial analysis, risk control and project responsibilities. Conduct analysis and produce reports to assist Senior Managers’ decision making.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
* Business management: assist line manager with BM responsibilities, including MI, KPI, EWI, KRI, RCSA, E2E map, budget planning & tracking, trading procedure, etc. Ensure that trading activities in Treasury are conducted in adherence with the Bank’s policies & procedures.
* Trading support: maintain Trader Mandate and implement Trader authorisation in the Treasury system; manage counterparties; prepare for risk limit applications; assist Relationship Managers & Client-onboarding team with KYC & onboarding; verify Treasury transactions and ensure that deals are successfully captured by systems, etc.
* Liquidity management: assist the ALM team with liquidity risk monitoring and analysis. Build tools to enhance forward looking capabilities and scenario analysis.
* Financial analysis: analyse Treasury’s contribution to the Bank’s overall financial performance.
* Risk control: identify & control credit / liquidity / market / operational risks; monitor risk exposure & limit utilisation; measure & explain PnL, escalate risk events to your line manager, etc.
* Projects: assist line manager with New Product Approval, Business Requirement Docs for system enhancements (e.g. STP, new functionalities or interface, automation of reports, liquidity & risk metrics, cash flow, etc.), build and optimise tools for risk control & measurement purposes, etc. Lead Treasury related tasks in Bank-wide projects.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
* Educated to a degree level in a quantitative subject (a MSc degree is preferred)
* Fluent in both English and Mandarin
* Excellent knowledge on FX, Interest Rate, MM and other Treasury products
* Excellent understanding on Treasury’s risk management and regulatory requirements
* Proven communication, decision-making, analytical and problem solving skills
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills (VBA/Spreadsheet is a must)
