Loan Settlement Admin – Fluent Mandarin

It is essential that all applicants are fluent in Mandarin, oral and written experience as well as working in a Bank or similar financial institution dealing with customers. Unfortunately, our client cannot provide sponsorship and therefore only applicants that have eligibility to work in the UK for 3+ years in the future, will be considered.
On behalf of our client, based in London, we are looking to recruit a Loan Settlement Administrator (Fluent Mandarin) on a permanent basis. This position will be office based 5 days per week.
The main purpose of the role is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the service quality, to meet clients’ and the bank’s standards through optimization of the loan procedure.
Responsibilities:
* Check details of Loan notices and e-permit.
* Open any new clients and facilities.
* Input deal into internal system.
* Register Nostro account cashflow relating to loan settlement.
* Make drawdown payments due, following instructions from Credit Administration Department.
* Pass any Journal Entries and Accruals fee in internal system.
* Update Loans Register schedule spreadsheet.
* Update interest rates, new maturity date in internal system when roll over.
* Make sure interest and/or principal are received from agents or the borrower and are consistent with loan transaction record.
* Make sure any fees due are paid or received.
* Liaise with Head Office and co-ordinate with internal departments on analysis of loan system upgrade and processes.
* Testing of internal system.
* Process payment instructions in relevant systems using knowledge of SWIFT formats.
* Create any new Clients and open relevant accounts in the system.
* Maintenance of records filing in a timely manner.
* Keep all AML check evidence for audit trail purpose. Must report /escalate to MLRO for potential positive hit or suspicious transaction in accordance with the Bank’s AML policy.
* Cover treasury settlement, clearing & payment, trade services, correspondence and reconciliation as and when is required.
* Process relevant correspondence in system.
* Update Consolidated Business Report monthly.
* Archiving of old deals.
* Conduct daily basic CASS review operation in accordance with established policies.
Skills and knowledge:
* 1 years’ work experience in loan settlement to process loan drawdown, repayments and interest reset.
* Good Microsoft Office skills.
* Accurate reporting skills.
* Fluent Mandarin oral and written.
