About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dynamic team, offering a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to make a significant impact in a supportive and forward-thinking educational setting.
This full-time, long-term role, with a salary of £100 – £120 per day, is a new addition to our team due to an expansion of support services. You will work with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, supporting diverse needs within a classroom of approximately 25 students and assisting in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Application Requirements:
• Qualifications: HLTA status or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Proven track record in supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Skills: Strong classroom management, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with the National Curriculum and a solid understanding of effective teaching strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Teaching: Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and managing classroom behavior.
• Student Support: Provide targeted support to students with varying needs, including those with SEN.
• Lesson Planning: Collaborate in the planning and preparation of teaching materials and activities.
• Assessment: Contribute to assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback to help students improve.
