Overview:
We are currently seeking compassionate Care Workers to provide essential care services to individuals in various settings, including care homes, hospices, and private residences.
The role involves supporting individuals with diverse care needs, including dementia care and medication administration.Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medications following prescribed guidelines
- Implement and update individualised care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Monitor and report changes in patients' health or behaviour
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care
Experience: - Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to patient care
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals requiring care
