Job Description:


Are you immediately available and experienced in accounts? Pertemps are working with a respectable client based in the Motherwell area who are looking for an accounts administrator or a purchase ledger clerk to join them on a temporary basis.

This position is set to last over a 6 week period however there is potential for extension. This role will be helping the accounts department with varies accounts responsibilities. The salary for this role is £23k per annum. The hours of work are full time, Monday

  • Friday. Free parking is available onsite.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Daily Cash banking
  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Prepare and process bank payments as required
  • Daily allocation of bank payments received/made
  • Reconcile bank transactions daily highlighting any issues to management
  • Petty cash reconciliation
  • On a weekly basis review sales ledger using aged debt analysis spreadsheet to identify aged debt. Escalate any payment issues to department manager and FC
  • Monthly stock check and other month end reconciliations
  • Ensure support given to other colleagues and department managers to ensure records are maintained accurately and promptly
  • Previous experience working in a finance type role
  • Alternatively strong administration experience
  • Strong Microsoft office experience including Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills
