Housing support, Support Worker

Your new company

You will be working for a big housing association in Nottingham, this role is a full time role and has the potential to go permanent.

The purpose of the role is to support service users in their accommodations helping them maintain and sustain their property.

You will provide services in criminal justice, housing, health and education and help people navigate the systems to access them.

You will also work collaboratively between services and with other providers to ensure tailored support to meet the service users'specific needs.


Your new role

You will be supporting around 7 or 8, year olds who suffer with alcohol, drug misuse, mental health problems, domestic abuse or anti-social behaviour as well as conducting inspections to ensure health and safety is to a satisfactory standard and reportany damages.

You will be expected to give 1 hour a week of face to face support to advice with budgeting as well as generic support in order to give them the skills they need to live independently.

You will be working 35 hours a week of - 4 and - 9 each week being expected to work 2 weekends within a month.

By working every other weekend you will get a day off in the week (usually Monday and Friday).

What you'll need to succeed
You will need an enhanced DBS
Experience is essential
Access to a car is desirable but not a must
You must posses a kind and patient nature.
