Due to our rapid growth driven by innovative product creations and high demand, we are seeking a full-time Marketing Manager to join our Midlands-based team. The role involves leading marketing initiatives, whether executed internally or through external partnerships.

About The Candidate

We are seeking an individual with a passion for sportswear and motorcycling. The ideal candidate should excel at multitasking across diverse channels, capable of independent work as well as collaboration within both internal and external teams.

  • Excellent communicator – internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing communications.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, SEO, CMS, web analytics, social networks, and emerging marketing channels.
  • Experience managing campaigns from concept to execution across print and digital platforms.
  • Degree-educated, preferably in Marketing or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of marketing experience.
  • Preferably a passion for motorcycling.

Key Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing engaging marketing campaigns across physical stores, B2C, and DTC channels. From ideation to performance analysis, the role involves utilizing various marketing tools to convey the brand message through print, digital, events, content creation, and web platforms.

Key areas of focus and responsibilities include:

  • E-Commerce
  • Maintaining the Merlin website using CMS, SEO, and Analytics.
  • Creating and optimizing web content to align with marketing strategies and user engagement, maintaining brand consistency online.
  • Managing brand assets for online partners.
  • Print and Design
  • Collaborating on diverse product projects to produce merchandising materials, catalogues, and promotional assets.
  • Brand Management/PR
  • Developing and executing social media marketing plans monthly, exploring new relevant platforms.
  • Creating unique digital advertising campaigns across various media channels.
  • Enhancing PR initiatives with external partners.
  • Collaborating with the product team on projects to boost engagement with content creators.
  • Other responsibilities include monitoring marketing environments, tracking campaign performance, organizing company-wide events, attending trade shows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • The Marketing Manager will work across multiple channels to enhance customer engagement and drive international growth for Merlin products.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of at least 4 years in marketing and communications.
  • Degree-educated, preferably in Marketing, with knowledge of motorcycle/sportswear industries.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Google marketing tools, and social media platforms.
