Your expertise will play a crucial role in optimizing the company's tax strategies and ensuring precise financial reporting.

  • Oversee the production and completion of all tax returns and declarative statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the production and completion of all local GAAP and statutory reporting for the company, maintaining adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Statutory Auditors, facilitating audits and providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Be responsible for tax reporting towards Group Finance, including deferred tax calculations and finalization of tax tools.
  • Act as the liaison for Group Tax in tax optimization projects in the UK and Ireland, operating under the guidance of Group Tax.
  • Handle communications with external tax authorities and public administrations, ensuring prompt responses and compliance with inquiries.
  • Lead and nurture a team of professionals, offering guidance and assistance to boost their skills and performance.
  • Supervise VAT reporting and account reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with VAT regulations.
  • Oversee Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.

Experience Required:

This role involves business tax, corporation tax, and VAT. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in business tax and compliance, gained from a finance or accounting management role. They should exhibit passion for the business tax aspect and possess management experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or tax is required, with a successful track record in overseeing tax and compliance functions.
