The Role

This senior position within our accounts department involves managing a diverse portfolio of clients and collaborating closely with team members to oversee departmental operations. The primary responsibilities include delivering a wide array of timely and high-quality financial statements and tax compliance assignments for clients, including those in the agricultural sector. Additionally, this role entails supervising and mentoring junior staff.

While the main focus is on compliance, there are ample opportunities to broaden your experience through direct client engagement, leading meetings, participating in ad-hoc projects, and working collaboratively to provide proactive services. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities.

What We Seek

  • ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent experience with a minimum of two years in a managerial role within an accounting practice.
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, as well as tax computations and personal tax returns. Familiarity with agricultural accounting is a plus.
  • Ability to manage work in progress and handle client billing effectively.
  • Strong understanding of income, corporation, and capital gains taxes.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities, with effective deadline management and prioritization skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and client relationship management.
  • Capability to engage with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • A valid driving license.
