ROLE OVERVIEW


The Head of Commercial Revenue will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy in line with company objectives to meet and exceed annual targets.


Reporting into the Managing Director, you will have responsibility for retaining and growing partnership revenue across brand sponsorships, charities, corporates sales, merchandise and marketplace / expos and will lead a high performing team focused on managing relationships and sales.

As Head of Commercial Revenue, you will also be required to report commercial strategy and revenue to the LimeLight Sports Club Board monthly.

You will be responsible for driving outbound lead generation, dealing with inbound enquiries and nurturing mutually beneficial partnership opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key responsibilities:

  • Creating and implementing the brand partner and charities commercial strategy for the LimeLight Sports Club portfolio, which includes; Etape Caledonia (Presented by Wahoo), The Wizz Air Hackney Half, Blenheim Triathlon, Asics London 10K, Challenge London, London Duathlon and Oxford Half
  • Forecasting, tracking and growing the overall sales and revenue pipeline for the seven properties
  • Responsibility for theoverall sales process from lead generation through to pitching, negotiation and onboarding
  • Lead on all contract negotiations working with the CFO to ensure the best deal is created for the business
  • Lead and inspire a commercial team to deliver against targets, setting targets/KPI's that are in line with overall sales targets
  • Lead on financial performance of the commercial division in terms of brand and charity partnerships, corporate and charity entries and marketplace sales
  • Represent LimeLight externally, raising awareness of the business in order to grow and develop partnership opportunities
  • Using experience to provide thought leadership and insights through external facing forums including but not limited to online, conferences, articles and meetings
  • Provide timely and accurate sales reports to the MD and the LimeLight Sports Club Board on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Meet with the wider revenue team weekly to present sales and lead generation reports
  • Create strong working relationships with all aspects of the business to ensure the commercial team work in a collaborative manner

Team Leadership:

  • Represent the Commercial Team in the LimeLight Sports Senior Management Team and contribute towards wider strategic business direction
  • Integrate the Commercial Team into the broader business operations
  • Lead and inspire a high performing team and drive engagement levels
  • Educate the company on the latest trends, creating a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing

Line management:

  • Management of a highperforming sales team
  • Resourcing of team, partners, and supply chain
  • Monthly 1:1 meeting
  • 360 performance reviews
  • Support and guidance regarding professional development
  • Regular and timely feedback
  • Compliance with Company policies and procedures
  • Develop talent and identify training needs to develop a highperforming team

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Proven track record with a minimum of 5 years experience delivering revenue targets through a range of commercial partnerships
  • Extensive network with relevant partners
  • Proven track record of sourcing and closing deals
  • Experience of working in a complex stakeholder environment
  • Proven ability to foster senior level relationships with charities and commercial partners
  • Creative and intelligent approach for developing mutually beneficial relationships
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and driven with a 'hunter' mindset
  • Passionate about; sport, health, wellbeing and making a positive difference

THE PACKAGE:

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Weekends may be required in order to deliver events

Hybrid working between home and office location London, SE1

Salary:
up to £70,000 per annum (£90,000 OTE)

Holiday:25 Days annual leave + bank holidays
