Join our team at JD Group as a Buyers Admin Assistant

  • Location: JD Group, Hollinsbrook Way, Pilsworth, BL9 8RR
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist the Assistant Buyer/Buyer in managing the range and samples
  • Ensure timely collection and dispatch of samples with correct documentation
  • Compile Competitor Shopping Reports to analyze competitor activity
  • Create and maintain product sheets with up-to-date information
  • Complete trade admin tasks and document trade meeting outcomes
  • Monitor web images and support in sign-off presentations
  • Manage staff sales samples and track sportswear fashion trends
  • Provide sell-through info to brands and analyze trade rankings
  • Use trend prediction tools and attend appointments with Buyers

Core Competencies:

  • Knowledge of our store base and website
  • Desire to learn and passion for our product
  • Social media awareness and proactive thinking for improvements
  • Confidence in market knowledge and ability to influence at all levels

Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:

  • Preferably JD retail experience
  • Essential knowledge of current sportswear fashion trends
  • Awareness of celebrity sportswear fashion trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and good organizational skills
