As a leading player in the car sector, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant.

Your Role:

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting their finance team in managing the financial transactions and records within their dynamic car industry environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Daily banking routine includes collating and reconciling previous days sales/service and parts payments taken
  • Chasing customers for outstanding payments
  • Sending a weekly debt report to Managers
  • Reconciling account statements
  • Managing dealership fleet mileage discrepancies
  • Scanning and uploading invoices to Kerridge
  • Monthly stock check of cars
  • Any ad-hoc duties as and when required

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of all accounting routines, including stock checks and month end reconciliations
  • Knowledge of CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management System would be advantageous
  • Previous experience required
