Job Title: Operations Analyst

Location: London

The Role: An exciting opportunity is available for a highly skilled Senior Operations Associate to join our client's boutique service provider in London. This role offers broad exposure to our business operations, allowing you to take ownership of processes from the outset. Collaborating with a team of experienced professionals, you will utilize technical skills such as Go and SQL to enhance existing processes and develop new solutions. Regular interaction with other teams and external partners will be essential to address daily challenges effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support to hedge funds and alternative asset funds.
  • Handle trade bookings, reconciliations, and communication with external parties.
  • Manage trade settlements, lifecycle, and cash/margin operations.
  • Oversee NAV reconciliation, expense accruals, and FX hedging.
  • Produce fund reports and liaise with various stakeholders for issue resolution.
  • Onboard new clients, support system implementations, and participate in on-call duties.

Essential Attributes:

  • Hold a Bachelor's or master's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 3-10 years of experience in operations within finance.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adept at handling fast-paced scenarios.
  • Proficient in Python, Go, and SQL for automation and data processing.
  • Thrives in challenging environments to provide optimal solutions.
